comment from post 1 2025

Comparing the United States health care system to other countries is a daunting task. There are many, many factor to consider. Where one country may be excelling there are always contrasting areas where they are failing. In a broad context, it is easy to see that the U.S. is lagging behind other countries. In the article U.S. Health Care from a Global Perspective, it is noted that the U.S. is far outspending many other countries. But, it counters that cost itself is higher in the U.S. So while we may be spending more than the next highest spender, France, it may be in part because our healthcare itself is simply more expensive. Not because we are utilizing more actual services. (“U.S. Health Care from a Global Perspective,” 2017) Interesting finding, the U.S. also has less physicians than other countries and less physician visits. This article points out that the U.S. utilizes more expensive technology like MRI’s. The U.S. also utilizes more prescription drugs. (“U.S. Health Care from a Global Perspective,” 2017) The U.S. clearly has some problems managing costs of healthcare. Delivery is very different in other countries. The U.S. has less actual provided care to show for the money being spent. The costs are out of control. There is clear mismanagement of care based on the spiraling costs and how this impacts the availability of care to every American. At this rate of cost and delivery, quality healthcare is not sustainable. It is important that the U.S. make reforms to make healthcare more cost effective and with better outcomes. As of 2013, our infant mortality at 6.1/1000 births is higher than any of the 13 countries compared. Our life expectancy at 78.8 years is lower than all of the 13 countries compared. We also have the highest obesity rate. (“U.S. Health Care from a Global Perspective,” 2017) Again, we clearly need healthcare reforms to address these and other problems. 2025 Safe medication administration begins in the pharmacy Pharmacy technicians are involved in the process of compounding sterile preparations for patient

AS BELOW 2025

Safe medication administration begins in the pharmacy. Pharmacy technicians are involved in the process of compounding sterile preparations for patient use. In this project, you are responsible for performing aseptic technique properly in order to ensure patient safety. It is essential in pharmacy that we are trained and follow protocol. Aseptic compounding that lacks standards of care or a quality assurance process, compromises patient safety. USP Chapter <797>, Pharmaceutical Compounding: Sterile Preparations became official on January 1, 2004 with several revisions that followed and the most recent in 2008. This created standards to follow and quality assurance procedures all with the end goal being patient safety. Currently USP Chapter <800> is being developed which will expand the current guidelines to include hazardous materials handling. Research Paper Discuss USP Chapter <797> and the importance of the standards that were created, focus on revisions made in 2008 (include requirements for garbing, environmental quality control, beyond use dating and training and testing). The new USP Chapter <800> guidelines are still in the development stage, however, a great deal of information is available. What are some of the suggested changes and what will be added to the current guidelines? Format and References Use information provided to you throughout the course, Rasmussen library resources, etc. Your final paper must 4-5 pages long and include both in-text citations and a reference page in APA format. You must have at least 5 references. Keep in mind there is a requirement to the minimum length of the assignment 4-5 pages, there is a required amount of references (at least 5 references) ,and your submission should include in-paragraph APA citations. Hello i need a good and positive comment related with this argument .A paragraph with no more 90 words. Deactivated Idalmis Espinosa 1 posts Re:Topic 5 DQ 1 Some of the nursing intervention related to the level of primary prevention, include identification of the tragedy menace and people predominantly susceptible to the earthquake effects, in this scenario Haiti. For example, workshops launched to educate the masses regarding tragedy prevention and preparedness and agencies to develop plans to avert catastrophes when possible and restraining the morbidity and death rate. There should be identification of resources to disaster response, in this case nurses should recruit and train nurses volunteers to deal with the risks effects. Secondary prevention would include, communicating any relevant information regarding related effects on health to the pertinent government agencies. For example, synchronize the stipulation of the needed crisis and custom health care without delay following disaster, which include prevention of injury and provision of water and food, vector control, and transmissible diseases control. it is important if nurses scrutinize the sanctuary sites for any risks to health. Finally, tertiary prevention by nurses involves follow-up care availability to the victim hit by the disaster. For example, should involve evaluation of the response to the disaster and succeeding modification of response plans for future tragedy (Grand Canyon University, 2016). The three levels fall under the preparedness phase. This is because they all involve all the outline of measures or tactics designed to save victims lives and also minimizing the possible damages when the tragedy of earthquake occurs. Nurses need support from agencies: federal government, the reason being they would be able to assist assuring that the plans of the nurses are implemented; the local municipal, they would be in charge waste management for prevention of infectious disease spreading; and National weather service to update on the earthquake and weather issues (Martin, n.d).

comment from post 3 2025

The United States health care system is lacking in many areas when it is compared to other countries. There are many areas that we can improve where health care is concerned. Even though our health system is not the best our cost for health care continues to rise. Where is our money going? A survey from the Harvard School of Public Health revealed that 55% of American adults barely gave the US health care a passing grade, more than 11% gave the quality of care a fair rating, and 47% felt that the hospital care failed to provide the care that they deserved. Reading this was awful to say the least. How can we fall behind in quality of care in the hospital setting when our goal is to have the best outcome for our patients? Many studies show how there are multiple errors due to lack of communication and misuse of equipment that leads to accidents and even death of the patient. Health care providers need to talk to each other and respect one another and always remember that the patient should be their priority. The way we can achieve this is by holding everyone accountable for the care that’s being provided. Reporting poor quality of care will also help open the eyes of those who choose to work blindly. In regards to the high price of health care The Affordable Care Act was established to help. It gives people that cannot afford insurance or are not offered insurance at their jobs a discounted rate. 20 million Americans have received coverage under this act that was initiated May 1, 2014, (The commonwealth fund, 2016)). Many individuals work hard to earn enough money to support their families and provide food and clothes for them. They don’t have enough money to spare on health insurance just in case. Health care insurance is not cheap to buy even purchasing a HMO costs an average family $700-$900 a month, that’s just the monthly fee and does not take into consideration the copays and cost of medication that goes along with treatments. We have the biggest and best that the world has to offer when it comes to science and medicine we should be able to provide care to all not just a select few that can afford it. 2025 Discussion Using Emotional Intelligence and Appreciative Inquiry to Promote Quality Through communication inquiry and dialogue every person makes

NURS 6231: HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS AND QUALITY OUTCOMES – Discussion 2 (Grading Rubic and Media Attached) 2025

Discussion: Using Emotional Intelligence and Appreciative Inquiry to Promote Quality Through communication—inquiry and dialogue—every person makes a contribution, and by being involved in the process, people can shift their attention and action away from a problem-oriented focus to dreams that are worthy to them and to productive possibilities for the future. —Watkins & Mohr, 2001 Without a doubt, promoting health care quality and patient safety presents a meaningful aim. To achieve this goal, nurse leader-managers need to be able to evaluate a situation from many different viewpoints and frame questions that elicit valuable insights. They must be able to promote skillful problem solving and interdisciplinary teamwork. In this Discussion, you examine how you can use emotional intelligence and appreciative inquiry to facilitate positive changes that lead to improved quality and safety. To prepare: Review the information on emotional intelligence and appreciative inquiry presented in this week’s Learning Resources. If you have not already done so, follow the instructions in the course text, Emotional Intelligence 2.0 to complete the online assessment. Consider the results of the assessment. Review your strengths and opportunities for growth related to self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management. What insights, questions, or concerns arise as you think about these results? Think about how your identified emotional intelligence strengths and opportunities for growth relate to your current role as a leader-manager and to the professional contributions that you hope to make now and in the future. Give focused attention to patient safety and health care quality. How and why is emotional intelligence valuable for promoting optimal patient outcomes and creating systems-level change? As indicated on pages 53–55 of the Bradberry and Greaves text, develop a plan for improving your skills in one area of emotional intelligence. Evaluate strategies for applying your strengths in the workplace. Identify at least two that you can use to add value to a team or workgroup to improve quality and safety. Also review the information on appreciative inquiry in this week’s Learning Resources. Have you used appreciative inquiry before? If so, how? How does the application of appreciative inquiry relate to your role as nurse leader-manager and/or to efforts to promote health care quality? Reflect on your experiences working in health care and identify an issue or problem that required, or requires, a change. Consider how you could apply emotional intelligence and appreciative inquiry strategies to this situation to facilitate positive results that lead to improved quality. Post a brief description of an issue or problem in a health care setting that required, or requires, a change. Explain how you, as a nurse leader-manager, could apply both emotional intelligence and appreciative inquiry strategies to address this issue and facilitate positive results that lead to improved quality. Respond to at least two of your colleagues on two different days using one or more of the following approaches: Ask a probing question, substantiated with additional background information or research. Share an insight from having read your colleagues’ postings, synthesizing the information to provide new perspectives. Validate an idea with your own experience and additional resources. I NEED A POSITIVE COMMENT BASED IN THISA RGUMENT. BETWEEN 150-200 WORDS Every disease that is caused in a state where mass of people are affected requires a wide range of interrelated program, action, and activities that will see to it that the situation is under control. This calls for prevention measures to be facilitated so that health risk can be controlled in a resilient aspect, this should be offered by the national and state government where by polices are implemented the will enhance actions in a flexible perspective. In this case, the intervention will be described in following levels: Primary Prevention, Secondary Prevention, and Tertiary Prevention. To begin with, the primary level where it aims at preventing injuries before they occur or any interrelated hazards that are prone to occur. Nursing Intervention that can be reflected in this case is educating people about health and safe habits so that prevention can partake on the primary basis. This means that people in this situation ought to be prevented on various factors regarding how earthquake situations can be handled. Secondary prevention is designated to reduce the impact that is caused in a certain situation. This means that various measures ought to be facilitated so that the situation can be in control. This means that programs and activities ought to be used so that the initial aspect of the health condition can obtained. In case, the main obligation is to make sure that long-term problems are dealt with in appropriate standards. This calls for regular intervention and analysis of the repercussions that are caused by the earthquake, which means that the situation can be controlled reflecting the intervention offered. More so, this involve prevention of communicable diseases after the earthquake has occurred. It is in this case a plan and a control vector are initiated so that any venerable effects can be deterred with appropriate measures. Tertiary prevention is based on how the situation is responded to, so that the repercussion caused by the disaster can be minimised and soften the situation. In this case, support groups can be initiated so that people can work on the basis of knowing what to do and maintaining the situation. This means that the other level and the approach that is partaken in controlling the situation is reflected in Tertiary prevention. More so, internal and external perspective are enhanced so that a better approach can be obtained this mean that every agency either in the local, state or federal government is essential so that a better solution can be offered. The speculated disaster of the earthquake can be defined by engaging all level in a proportional manner, this is because the situation is deified in a large scale since it affect the people in a large scale aspect. The reason as to why all this phase are defined to be important is because an overall solution can be obtained in a more flexible aspect and the affected people can come up with variable solutions in a more resilient aspect. In addition, defining how the situation can be controlled is based on the approach that is facilitated. An earthquake disaster can be determined by the plate tectonics phenomena that is based on interaction of rigid lithospheric plates that define the magnitude that the earthquake will occur . In the Primary Prevention, the intervention that is obtained is defined to be facilitating educational programs that will help in ensuring the every person is briefed on what is expected to be done. This means that every kind of people or agencies will be recommended to work in this situation so that an appropriate solution can be obtained. By doing this, every aspect that tends to emerge can be well addressed because control vectors are used whereby every situation is kept under control. More so, it implies people will gain knowledge and tips for overcoming challenges you might face along the way. References Friedman, H. (2001).
