This assignment will help you understand your personality type. Through this assignment, you will analyze how your specific personality type can enhance or hinder effective leadership in the health care environment.

Using the University Online Library or the Internet, research about personality types.

Based on your research and understanding, write a 3- to 4-page Microsoft Word document that:

·  Integrates how your specific personality type can enhance or hinder effective leadership in the health care environment.

·  Explains all four aspects of your personality gleaned from the assessment.

·  Includes 2- to 3-journal article references.

Please note that the title and reference pages should not be included in the total page count of your paper.

Theories of Practice

What is a theory?

Theory can be defined as “one or more relatively concrete and specific concepts that are derived from a conceptual model, the propositions that narrowly describe those concepts, and the propositions that state relatively concrete and specific relations between two or more concepts” (Butts & Rich, 2018, p. 101).

Theory is a hypothesis tested and measured to explain, predict, describe, and prescribe relationships between concepts and is developed through quantitative research.

The difference between a model and a theory is the amount of proof that exists in demonstrating the outcomes they predict. Both models and theories show relationships between concepts.

Directions

In this assignment, you will locate a grand and middle-range nursing theory and examine the utility of your chosen theories for guiding research and practice.

You will locate one grand nursing theory and one middle-range nursing theory applied in a research study. You will examine how each theory was applied within the research study and then analyze the utility of grand and middle-range nursing theories to advance the discipline of nursing and its impact upon your advanced nursing practice.

jordan is a 35-year-old woman who presents with intermittent diarrhea with cramping that is relieved by defecation. The diarrhea is not bloody or accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Review of past medical history includes some childhood “stomach issues”, HTN, and a recent cholecystectomy. She works in the environmental department of a large hotel. . She denies alcohol and cigarette.

Diagnosis: Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS): Please address the following questions in APA format:

Using the practice problem you selected in Week 1, continue your appraisal of the evidence by analyzing two systematic reviews. Conduct a library search for two systematic reviews addressing this problem. Appraise the two systematic reviews using the Johns Hopkins Research Evidence Appraisal Tool.

After appraising and determining the Level of Evidence and Grade of Quality for your selected systematic reviews, summarize your findings on the Johns Hopkins Individual Evidence Summary Tool.

Include your completed Johns Hopkins Individual Evidence Summary Tool that includes your two systematic reviews as an attachment with your initial post. Also, include PDF versions of your selected two systematic reviews with your initial discussion post. Our faculty team will review both your two systematic reviews and Include your completed Johns Hopkins Individual Evidence Summary Tool.

Analyze the evidence summary of the two systematic reviews to address the following.

• Does the systematic review answer the research question? Explain your rationale.
• Was the search comprehensive and reproducible?
• Did each systematic review include a section addressing limitations and how they were addressed?
• Based on this evidence summary, would you consider either or both of these systematic reviews as support for your selected practice problem? Explain your rationale.
