Think back to the beginning of the term when you identified your strengths and weaknesses as a scholarly writer. Think about your work creating an academic argument in the Discussions. What parts of that process became easier for you over the past few weeks? Do you feel you’re a stronger scholar now? If so, in what ways?

To prepare for this Assignment:

• Review      the Week 1 portion of your Feedback Journal where you identified your      strengths and weaknesses as a scholarly writer.
• Review      the drafts of your paragraph (completed paragraph drafts attached), noting their evolution      from Week 2 to Week 6.
• Review      your entire Feedback Journal, noting any patterns you see from week to      week.

By Day 7

Submit a 1- to 2-page reflection answering the following questions:

• What      is one area in which you have improved over this 6-week course? Explain      your improvement and give examples.
• How      has your Feedback Journal assisted in your growth as a scholarly writer?

Quotations and In-Text Citation:

Imagine that you are the CEO of a large, metropolitan, multispecialty health care organization located in an urban city within the United States. The health care organization is for-profit and privately held. The demographics of the surrounding area include military personnel, educators, government employees, professionals, factory workers, and laborers. With the recent and proposed changes in health care regulations and the uncertainty surrounding federal law (e.g., the Affordable Care Act), the organization must cut costs and reduce the number of full-time personnel. The board has asked you to create a bulleted Executive Summary of the key positions that must be retained within the organization and the positions that can be eliminated. Provide your opinion about how these personnel changes could impact quality and patient satisfaction.

Create a high-level 500–750-word Executive Summary for the board that provides a brief description of the health care organization, a list of applicable laws that must be considered if staff is to be reduced, and a list of both the positions that must be retained and those that may be eliminated.

Diet and Disease blog

We have been learning about many facts about nutrition. This assignment is designed for you to apply this knowledge to a disease that is treated with diet intervention.  

There are a number of diseases that are treated with a diet.  Diet is included as treatment is some of the most common diseases such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, celiac disease, and irritable bowel syndrome.  However, other conditions such as epilepsy and arthritis can also benefit from dietary modification. There are other conditions such as cancer that often require diet modifications during treatment (such as chemotherapy)

For this assignment choose a disease that you find interesting 

Then find valid information about how diet is used in the treatment of the condition.  Make sure you use 2 sources of VALID information from at least 2 different sources.  One source needs to be a peer reviewed article from a medical journal.

2. Summary of the major principles of the diet that is recommended for the condition.
