Psychological assessment guides are created by psychology professionals to provide the public with accurate and authoritative information appropriate for their current needs. Information available to the public about psychological testing and assessment varies widely depending on the professional creating it, the purpose of the assessment, and the intended audience. When professionals effectively educate the public on the how, what, and why behind assessments and the strengths and limitations of commonly used instruments, potential clients are in a better position to be informed users of assessment products and services. The Assessment Guides developed in this course will be designed to provide the lay public with accurate and culturally relevant information to aid them in making informed decisions about psychological testing. Students will develop their Guides with the goal of educating readers to be informed participants in the assessment process. There is no required template for the development of the Assessment Guide. Students are encouraged to be creative while maintaining the professional appearance of their work. The Guide must be reader-friendly (sixth- to ninth-grade reading level) and easy to navigate, and it must include a combination of text, images, and graphics to engage readers in the information provided. Throughout their Guides, students will provide useful examples and definitions as well as questions readers should ask their practitioners. To ensure accuracy, students are expected to use only scholarly and peer-reviewed sources for the information in the development of their Guides.Students will begin their Guides with a general overview of assessment, reasons for assessment referrals, and the importance of the role of each individual in the process. Within each of the remaining sections, students will describe the types of assessments that their readers may encounter, the purposes of each type of assessment, the different skills and abilities the instruments measure, the most valid and reliable uses of the measures, and limitations of the measures. A brief section will be included to describe the assessment process, the types of professionals who conduct the assessments, and what to expect during the assessment meetings. The Assessment Guide must include the following sections:Table of Contents (Portrait orientation must be used for the page layout of this section.)In this one-page section, students must list the following subsections and categories of assessments.Introduction and OverviewTests of IntelligenceTests of AchievementTests of AbilityNeuropsychological TestingPersonality TestingIndustrial, Occupational, and Career AssessmentForensic AssessmentSpecial Topics (student’s choice)ReferencesSection 1: Introduction and Overview (Portrait or landscape orientation may be used for the page layout of this section.)Students will begin their Guides with a general overview of assessment. Must be a substantive response. Please further conversation.APA format175 word minimumRespond to the following:Rita Olivares10 hours ago, at 11:54 PMHello Class,Employee engagement is when an employee is motivated to be focused on work and complete goals. You can tell employees are engaged through their actions of being proactive with challenges, persistent and adapting to change (Macey, & Schneider, 2009). Employee engagement is very important because when employees are engaged they have enhanced productivity which then leads to increased shareholder value (Macey, & Schneider, 2009). One key to employee engagement is to have a high performance work environment. An example of an organization that is successful with engaging their employees is CISCO. They engaged their employees by starting a program that the employees helped create. The program was created when leaders asked employees how the employees play a part in creating the culture and they also explored how they show up for work (Brownlee, 2019). CISCO embraces a conscious culture by implementing a program that is open about employee engagement. The program also has a ritual that builds authentic connections between team leaders and team members with frequent check in conversations (Brownlee, 2019). I think that employees are more engaged when leaders listen and actively involve employees in decision making.ReferencesBrownlee, D. Must be a substantive response. Please further conversation.APA format175 word minimum1 referenceRespond to the following:Ashlee Spegal6:34 PMEmployee engagement is the successful integration of individuals in a corporation to feel like a family instead of just co-workers. Having employees who are positively engaged in their work environment result in individuals who are willing to continuously go above and beyond for their employers because they know that they will always be considered in the tough decisions. One company that I have studied that has positive employee engagement is that of Coca-Cola. They have employee incentive programs which include amazing health and dental policies, education assistance and even paid vacation time that doubles in comparison to other companies out there. This can be attributed to the sheer size of the company. Being able to maintain their outstanding service to not just their customers but their employees as well has been a high priority for this organization.“Their vision includes: embracing internal diversity, increasing employee system knowledge, and encouraging associates to ‘act like owners’ as proud ambassadors of the Coca-Cola brand. Associates are rewarded for problem solving and risk taking, engaging in creativity and fun” (Wilson, K., 2015).Coca-Cola’s employee engagement strategies has been highly valued over the years and their people are put in the top categories of priorities for the company. They feel that these individuals should be the best of who they can be, not only to profit for the company, but to also profit for their own individual selves.Wilson, K. (2015).  Unbottling Coca-Cola’s employee engagement strategies. https://smbp.uwaterloo.ca/2015/02/unbottling-coca-colas-employee-engagement-strategies/
