1 It was very nice meeting with you and learning more about the LPN 2023 Assignment

 1.

It was very nice meeting with you and learning more about the LPN position in Family Medicine that you have interviewed me for. I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to meet with me and get to know me a little more, while looking through my resume at my qualifications. The job that you have posted and interviewing for seems like it would be a very good match for my knowledge and interests. After looking over and talking with you more in depth about the job description, allowed me to confirm that I would enjoy working at Park Nicollet and would be a great addition to your health care teams. With my 9+ years of experience working in the health care field, I believe that I have valuable qualities that will help provide your patients with the best quality of care possible. I am very honored and appreciative that you chose to interview me and hope we will have the opportunity to work together in the near future. Thank you again.

Tawna Postel

I feel that it is a good idea to send a thank you letter to a company who has taken the time to interview you. Not only does it show that you respect them and their company, but that you are interested in the job itself. I also feel that sending a thank you letter will make a canidate stand out amongst others. I dont feel that just because someone sends a thank you letter, that they will receive the job; that is based off how qualified the employee is.

2.

Good Afternoon Mrs. Anderson,

I wanted to take a moment in time to express my gratitude to you for allowing me the opportunity to meet you. It was an absolute pleasure to enter the clinic as I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff and the uplifting ambiance. It was lovely to see all the employees work well together as a team.  I appreciate you taking the time to explain the hiring process and how the training program works at your clinical. I am very impressed with the opportunity you have available here and I would be delighted to add to your team as an LPN.

It would be a honor to be considered for a LPN position at this clinic. I am very much looking forward to hearing from you in regards to the next steps. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any additional information than I provided or if you have any further questions. I hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely,

Morgan Koivisto,

When I first watched the videos, I thought writing a thank you letter would be rather simple and quick. I do think that less words are better than more words and it leaves a lasting impression. However, when I sat down looking at a blank slate, I had a hard time coming up with the right words to say. I wanted my letter to be genuine and not too scripted. I thought this was a very good experience as this is something we will be needing to write to our potential employers. I liked it.

i just need a respond for these two post

2023 Assignment Critiquing Quantitative Qualitative or Mixed Methods Studies Critiquing the validity and

Nursing 2023 Essentials Of Evidence-Based Practice

Assignment Critiquing Quantitative Qualitative or Mixed Methods Studies Critiquing the validity and 2023 Assignment

Assignment: Critiquing Quantitative, Qualitative, or Mixed Methods Studies

Critiquing the validity and robustness of research featured in journal articles provides a critical foundation for engaging in evidence-based practice. In Weeks 5 and 6, you explored quantitative research designs. In Week 7, you will examine qualitative and mixed methods research designs. For this Assignment, you will critique a quantitative and either a qualitative or a mixed methods research study and compare the types of information obtained in each.

To prepare:

· Select a health topic of interest to you that is relevant to your current area of practice- (Pediatric Nursing). The topic may be your Course Portfolio Project or a different topic of your choice.

· Using the Walden Library, locate two articles in scholarly journals that deal with your portfolio topic: 1) Select one article that utilizes a quantitative research design and 2) select a second article that utilizes either a qualitative OR a mixed methods design. These need to be single studies not systematic or integrative reviews (including meta-analysis and metasynthesis). You may use research articles from your reference list. If you cannot find these two types of research on your portfolio topic, you may choose another topic.

· Locate the following documents in this week’s Learning Resources to access the appropriate templates, which will guide your critique of each article:

  • Critique Template for a      Qualitative Study
  • Critique Template for a      Quantitative Study
  • Critique Template for a      Mixed-Methods Study

· Consider the fields in the templates as you review the information in each article. Begin to draft a paper in which you analyze the two research approaches as indicated below. Reflect on the overall value of both quantitative and qualitative research. If someone were to say to you, “Qualitative research is not real science,” how would you respond?

To complete this Assignment:

· Complete the two critiques using the appropriate templates.

· Write a 2- to 3-page paper that addresses the following:

· Contrast the types of information that you gained from examining the two different research approaches in the articles that you selected.

  • Describe the general advantages      and disadvantages of the two research approaches featured in the articles.      Use examples from the articles for support.
  • Formulate a response to the      claim that qualitative research is not real science. Highlight the general      insights that both quantitative and qualitative studies can provide to      researchers. Support your response with references to the Learning      Resources and other credible sources.

· As you complete this Assignment, remember to:

· Submit your paper to Grammarly and SafeAssign through the Walden Writing Center. Based on the Grammarly and SafeAssign reports, revise your paper as necessary.

· Reminder: The School of Nursing requires that all papers submitted include a title page, introduction, summary, and references. The School of Nursing Sample Paper provided at the Walden Writing Center provides an example of those required elements (available from the Walden University website found in this week’s Learning Resources). All papers submitted must use this formatting.

· Combine all three parts of this assignment into one Word document including both critique templates and the narrative with your references. Submit this combined document.

Nursing 2023 leading organization-9.2

Now that we have covered all four frames and as you analyze the material from the biography 2023 Assignment

Now that we have covered all four frames, and as you analyze the material from the biography of your selected leader, create a map to address the components of the four frames. You may review the guidance document provided for the midterm to get an idea of the types of things you should be looking for as you examine your selected leader’s biography. This assessment by Lee Bolman: Team Frames Assessment also provides you with some ideas to think about as you create your map. You do not need to complete the assessment, just review the questions.

Create a document that provides you with an outline to ensure that you address the components from all four frames. Besides the midterm guidance document, some of the ideas to think about are:

  • What frame or frames did the leader use?
  • Did the leader seem to be using the guidelines for leadership outlined throughout the course?
  • What other elements were used (e.g., influence, motivation, networking, etc.)?
  • What did the leader do when something went wrong?
  • How was success or failure celebrated?

Respond to the discussion #3 below using the following approaches:

1.      Ask a probing question, substantiated with additional background information or research.

2.      Propose means/resources an educator could utilize to address the situation/issues.

Learner Challenge

I currently teach a first quarter fundamentals nursing course. This is the introductory course to nursing basics. The student population can be very diverse. Many students have not been in school for many years and are not sure how to study and prepare for exams. Each week I use a formative evaluation to assess student learning. Formative evaluation involves assessment throughout the course, such as weekly exams (Laureate, 2013e). The goal of formative assessment is to monitor student learning and provide the instructor with feedback to improve learning as well as teaching (Eberly Center for Teaching Excellence, 2015). Formative assessment can help students identify their strengths and weaknesses and areas for improvement. Formative assessment can also help faculty to recognize those students who are struggling and problems can then be addressed early on (Eberly Center for Teaching Excellence, 2015). By offering weekly exams I am able to clearly identify those students who are struggling.

Strategies

When a student fails an exam I think it is important to meet with that student immediately to find out why they struggled. There are several factors that can lead to student performing poorly. These factors include poor study skills and possible personal problems (Cleland, Ross & Lee, 2010). Many students may not recognize their own struggles and fail to seek support (Cleland et. al., 2010). This is why it is important for educators to intervene early. We need to be alert to these cues and clues so that we can offer the appropriate resources for the students (Laureate, 2013e).

Cleland, Ross and Lee (2010) suggest the remediation process for students who are struggling. Remediation is the process of correcting a deficiency. The process involves diagnosis, remedial activities, and retesting (Cleland et. al., 2010). One we have addressed the student and diagnosed the problem we then offer a remedial activity to assist the student. In order to see if the process has worked we retest and evaluate the strategy.

Does remediation work? I have found it to be very successful. When my students fail the first test I make them meet with me to discuss why. Many times it is lack of preparation or poor study skills. We discuss the resources available to them. I usually send them to the learning assistance center for help with study skills and test taking strategies. I then look at their performance on the following weekly exams. I have found that by the next test they have improved. If they continue to seek assistance by the time the midterm and final exam come around I see great success. Midway through the quarter and at the end of the quarter I use summative evaluation in the form of midterm and final exam. I usually see great success if the student has used the resources. The summative evaluation evaluates the student at the end of the quarter and helps me to assess whether or not they are ready to move on (Eberly Center for Teaching Excellence, 2015).

Conclusion

Nursing school is not easy by any means, and students are going to struggle. As educators, it is important that we identify and address those students early on, so we can provide resources and strategies to help them be successful.

Evidence based practice is essential to providing safe quality care to a diverse population in 2023 Assignment

Evidence-based practice is essential to providing safe, quality care to a diverse population in the acute care setting as well as in the community. Understanding the health care system at the local level is essential to consider when planning the implementation of evidence-based practice (EBP) because it helps those implementing changes understand and execute the move in an area of greatest need. Franklin and Hopson (2007) write that implementing evidence-based practice change in the community setting is challenging. Interventions that work in research or acute care setting are often very challenging to implement locally in the community setting due to the struggle with “building partnerships between clinical practitioners and researchers” (Franklin & Hopson, 2007, p. 379). Maintaining the effectiveness and reliability of interventions once moved to the community setting is difficult thus careful attention to the specific needs of the local community health care system is imperative (Franklin & Hopson, 2007).

Information from my course mentor that I will consider for my project is to ensure that I am following the hospital’s shared governance model to allow other nurses on the unit to have a voice in the project change (T. Brock, personal communication, August 20, 2019). The hospital where I am implementing my project change is a Magnet culture and uses a shared governance model when considering implementation of evidence-based practice change. My practice change does not only affect me, so it is imperative to share accountability and partnership with my unit manager, peers, and unit-based council members when implementing a project change on the unit for effective outcomes (T. Brock, personal communication, August 20, 2019).

Nursing 2023 Assessment 3 Instructions: Evidence-Based Population Health Improvement Plan

Write a 4 5 page population health improvement plan based on your evaluation of the best available evidence from a minimum 2023 Assignment

Write a 4-5 page population health improvement plan, based on your evaluation of the best available evidence from a minimum of 3-5 current scholarly or professional sources of demographic, environmental, and epidemiological data that focuses on your diagnosis of a widespread population health issue.

Part of effectively engaging in evidence-based practice is the ability to synthesize raw health data with research studies and other relevant information in the literature. This will enable you to develop sound interventions, initiatives, and outcomes to address health concerns that you find in data during the course of your practice.

In this assessment, you have an opportunity to evaluate community demographic, environmental, and epidemiological data to diagnose a widespread population health issue, which will be the focus of a health improvement plan that you develop.

Scenario

Your organization is undertaking a population health improvement initiative focused on one of the pervasive and chronic health concerns in the local community. Examples of health improvement initiatives include nationwide concerns, such as type 2 diabetes, HIV, obesity, insect bites, and Zika. However, your organization has asked you to determine which widespread health concern should be addressed in a population health improvement plan for your community and has entrusted you with gathering and evaluating the relevant data.

Your Role

You are a nurse in a community clinic or hospital and you have a good idea about the most common chronic health issues among its patients. You have been asked to prepare a presentation for the next staff meeting about the issue and the plan that you are proposing to help improve the community’s health.

Instructions

The requirements outlined below correspond to the grading criteria in the scoring guide, so be sure to address each point. In addition, you may want to review the performance-level descriptions for each criterion to see how your work will be assessed.

Part 1: Data Evaluation

Evaluate the outcomes of a population health improvement initiative from community demographic, epidemiological, and environmental data.

  • Identify the relevant data.
  • Identify the level of evidence, validity, and reliability for each source.
  • Describe the major community health concerns suggested by the data.
  • Explain how environmental factors affect the health of community residents.
Part 2: Health Improvement Plan

Develop a health improvement plan that ethically and effectively addresses the population health concern that you identified in your evaluation of the relevant data.

  • Base your plan on the best available evidence from a minimum of 3-5 current scholarly or professional sources.
    • Apply correct APA formatting to all in-text citations and references.
    • Attach a reference list to your plan.
  • Ensure that your plan meets the cultural and environmental needs of your community and will likely lead to some improvement in the community’s health related to this concern.
    • Consider the environmental realities and challenges existing in the community.
    • Address potential barriers or misunderstandings related to the various cultures prevalent in the community.
  • Justify the value and relevance of the evidence you used as the basis of your plan.
    • Explain why the evidence is valuable and relevant to the community health concern you are addressing.
    • Explain why each piece of evidence is appropriate and informs the goal of improving the health of the community.
  • Propose relevant and measurable criteria for evaluating the outcomes of your plan.
    • Explain why your proposed criteria are appropriate and useful measures of success.
  • Explain how you will communicate with colleagues and members of the community, in an ethical, culturally sensitive, and inclusive way, with regard to the development and implementation of your plan.
    • Develop a clear communications strategy mindful of the cultural and ethical expectations of colleagues and community members regarding data privacy.
    • Ensure that your strategy enables you to make complex medical terms and concepts understandable to members of the community, regardless of language, disabilities, or level of education.
  • The headings for your Evidence-Based Population Health Improvement Plan should be the following:
    • Data Evaluation.
    • Meeting Community Needs.
    • Evidence.
    • Measuring Outcomes.
    • Communication Plan.
