As you discovered in this week’s lectures and textbook readings, numerous vulnerable populations exist in the community. Identify three local organizations in your community that deliver healthcare services to vulnerable populations. Based on your research findings, answer the following:

• Which population does each organization serve?
• What services does it provide?
• Where does it get its funding (local, state, or federal sources)?
• Evaluate the relative value of each organization’s services to individuals and families in the vulnerable population it serves.

The benefits of telehealthcare outweigh its shortcoming, and it is thus wise to adopt it in the delivery of care with advancement in technologies.

Choose one of the sources you will be utilizing in your final paper.

Using one passage from that source, provide an example of a quotation, an example of a paraphrase, and an example of a summary from that passage. Try to choose a passage of 50–100 words.

Familiarize yourself with the culture, people and health system of your country through different publicly available resources including journals, books, published reports, foundation/project websites, technical reports, conference proceedings and datasets. For our discussion board this week, we will discuss a neurological condition known as Cluster Headache.

Case Study:

Richard is a 40-year-old man with a history of 4 weeks of cluster headache once each year. These began when he was 35 years old. His cluster periods occur in the fall. The cluster period begins slowly, increasing over 1 week, reaching a peak where Richard has two or three severe cluster attacks each day. They occur from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Each cluster headache lasts from 40 to 90 minutes, and the headaches are severe. The pain is always on the right side, with eye tearing and nasal congestion. 

Richard comes into our office 1 week into this fall’s cluster series. The headaches are increasing in intensity, and he is miserable with the pain.
