Clinical Standard of Practice Presentation 

Students are expected to expand their use of resources for evidence-based practice beyond the required text and explore nursing and related literature to improve their understanding and application of advanced interventions. Each student will present a Clinical Practice Presentation. The focus of the presentation must reflect current treatment recommendations from accepted professional organizations. Presentations will be evaluated related to the criteria listed. Presentations must be no more than twelve slides in a PowerPoint format with a Reference List in APA format which once done must be sent by email to me and/or posted on week of the due time frame. Topics will be listed, and students must sign up for presentation by the second week of the course..

Week 11: Question for Discussion

Chapter 14 – Violent Behavior in Institutions

Statistics shows that 48% of no fatal injuries from occupational assaults in the United States occurred in health care and social services particularly mental health workers.

Grading Criteria:  The answer should be based on the knowledge obtained from reading the book, no just your opinion. If there are 2 questions in the discussion, you must answer both of them. Your grade will be an average of both questions. Student mentions 3 precipitating factors for violent behavior in institutions (45 points – 15 points each clue). Student discusses / explains each precipitating factor (55 points – 18.3 points each clue).

 

Men’s health

Read chapter 18 of the class textbook and review the attached PowerPoint presentation.  Once done, answer the following questions.

3. Mention and discuss barriers to be improving men’s health.
4. Mention and discuss factors that promote men’s health.

As stated in the syllabus present your assignment in an APA format word document, APA required font attached to the forum in the discussion tab of the blackboard titled “Week 11 discussion questions” and the SafeAssign exercise in the assignment tab of the blackboard which is a mandatory requirement.  A minimum of 2 evidence-based references (besides the class textbook) no older than 5 years must be used.  You must post two replies on different dates to any of your peers sustained with the proper references no older than 5 years as well and make sure the references are properly quoted in your assignment. The replies cannot be posted on the same day, I must see different dates in the replies.   A minimum of 800 words is required and not exceeding 1,000 words (excluding the first and reference page).  Please make sure to follow the instructions as given and use either spell-check or Grammarly before you post your assignment.

Assignment: Workplace Environment Assessment

Clearly, diagnosis is a critical aspect of healthcare. However, the ultimate purpose of a diagnosis is the development and application of a series of treatments or protocols. Isolated recognition of a health issue does little to resolve it.

In this module’s Discussion, you applied the Clark Healthy Workplace Inventory to diagnose potential problems with the civility of your organization. In this Portfolio Assignment, you will continue to analyze the results and apply published research to the development of a proposed treatment for any issues uncovered by the assessment.

To Prepare:
