This week, research your state and local maternal and infant mortality rates. Compare your local and state statistics and the factors that influence these differences or similarities. Pay close attention to racial disparities. For your initial post, state what the statistics are. Then state what you think the role of the APRN and the role of prenatal care are in addressing maternal and infant mortality.
