HERE IS THE SCENARIO BELOW:

 Scenario: As a nurse practitioner, you prescribe medications for your patients. You make an error when prescribing medication to a 5-year-old patient. Rather than dosing him appropriately, you prescribe a dose suitable for an adult.  

  

Discussion Question:

As nurses, we need to find effective ways to handle our stress. Explain how stress has affected you personally. How do you manage stress in your life? Are there other activities you could incorporate into daily routine to reduce stress?

Your initial posting should be at least 400 words in length and utilize at least one scholarly source other than the textbook.

Create a meal plan for one day for a patient on a 1500 calorie diet with No added salt (NAS) and a fluid restriction of 25 ounces of fluid daily. Identify the calorie count in each food on the diet and how they add up to 1500 calories. Identify the amount of ounces in every fluid and how they equal 25 ounces for the day. Pick only foods with no added salt for the diet but that meet the nutritional needs of choose my plate.
