Write a fully developed and detailed APA essay addressing each of the following points/questions. There is no required word count; be sure to completely answer all the questions for each question in detail. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper. Support your ideas with at least one (1) source using citations in your essay. Make sure to cite using the APA writing style for the essay. The cover page and reference page are required. Conduct a literature search to select a qualitative research study on the topic identified in Module 1. Conduct an initial critical appraisal of the study.

Respond to the overview questions for the critical appraisal of qualitative studies, including:

• Does analysis guide directions of sampling when it ends?
• Are data management processes described?
• What are the reported results (descriptive or interpretation)?

Please be sure to answer the questions thoroughly using complete sentences and APA format. Explain responses to yes/no questions in detail by presenting information found in the study to support your response.

Provide a reference for the article according to APA format and a copy of the article.

Assignment Expectations:

Length: Clearly and fully answer all questions; attach a copy of the article
Structure: Include a title page and reference page in APA format. Your essay must include an introduction and a conclusion.
References: Use appropriate APA style in-text citations and references for all resources utilized to answer the questions. A minimum of one (1) scholarly source for the article is required for this assignment.

In a 3-page paper, written in APA format using proper spelling/grammar, research the topic of learning disabilities of American children and address the following:

1. When is a child’s communication considered delayed? Please include stages of development regarding communication with examples.
2. What are speech disorders and how are they characterized?
3. What are language disorders? How does they affect language development and education?
4. How does a speech language pathologist help children with communication disorders? Explain with specific techniques and examples.

Be sure to include APA citations for any resources you used as references.

Promoting Evidence-Based Practice

In recent years, the implementation of evidence-based practice has been identified as a priority across nearly every nursing specialty (Prevost & Ford, 2020). In addition, nurses are increasingly accepted as essential members and often as leaders, of the interdisciplinary health-care teams. To effectively participate and lead a health-care team, nurses must have knowledge of the most effective and reliable evidence-based approaches to care, increase their expertise in critiquing research, and apply the evidence of their findings to select optimal interventions for their patients (Prevost & Ford, 2020).

Week two Discussion Assignment

Discussion Topic:    Nursing leaders need a workforce that can provide culturally competent care. Besides, nursing’s goal is to create a workforce that reflects the population it serves. In our country, we have a multicultural population. Discuss ethical issues in transcultural health care with which staff might be confronted in various work settings (inpatient, clinic, hospice). Ethics, whether philosophical, religious, or spiritual, is the study of morality, good and evil, and the rights and wrongs of human behavior and decision-making. One cultural group might find itself in a healthcare system that is based on the values of a different culture.

The Discussion:

• Must address the topic.
• Rationale must be provided.
• May list examples from your own nursing practice.
• 150-word minimum/250-word maximum without the references.

Many nurses are very concerned about what lies in the future of their careers. Each generation has their challenges, but this generation will probably always remember COVID-19. As nurses, we had to reflect on what happened during those days and we needed to soul search because of what we had to confront as nurses. Some of you are on the front lines of this pandemic taking care of patients that are affected.

Instructions:

1. Go to the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) website and read about moral distress.
2. Please share a couple of experiences that you may have had or that you may imagine that you would have caring for a patient with COVID-19
   • Example: It really disturbs me that a person that is dying cannot communicate with their family. As a proponent of palliative care and hospice and all the ideas connected to this I am adamantly against any person going through the dying process without family present. This has really disturbed me to the point that I am personally dealing with feelings of distress that I cannot come up with an answer.
3. Distinguish between moral distress, burnout and compassion fatigue. Classify the example that is given above. 
4. Read the AACN Position Statement: Moral Distress in Times of Crisis. Comment on the AACN Position Statement. Do you believe the same things about moral distress. What do you believe?
