One can also go online to the Child Reporting System Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm (EST) to make a report. And the nurse is a mandated child abuse reporter. This means that she is legally obliged to: make a report as soon as possible to Child Protection if she believes on a reasonable ground that a child is being abused. (Daro 2019)
