The next part of your project will require you to navigate to the website of Johnson & Johnson and locate the most recent annual reports ( attached with link at the bottom along with sample paper). You will use the annual reports to create financial statements. These statements will become the reference statements for your case. Annual reports for JNJ can be found on the company’s website and are  usually located in a section titled Investors/SEC filings.

• Use the annual report to find the total current assets and total current liabilities.
• Compute the current ratio for JNJ for previous two fiscal years
• Review reports on data for the last two years.

  • Cash and Cash Equivalents at the end of the Years
• Create a Balance Sheet or Statement of Cash Flows for most recent two years
• Identify trends with an indication of if the financial statements show a positive or negative for the organization and investors.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to create at least three (3) graphical displays to show the trends (i.e., bar graph, pivot table, histogram, etc). You should include a copy of your graphs in the body of your report.
• Discusses which year Johnson & Johnson appear to be in a stronger financial position and big differences between the 2 years (Keep in mind that dollar amounts in ( ) are negative or cash outflows).
• Imagine that this information represents information for your project case. Incorporate or reference financial information in your case to support the report.

Epidemiology Paper Requirements

Address the following:

Describe the chosen communicable disease, including causes,     symptoms, mode of transmission, complications, treatment, and the     demographic of interest (mortality, morbidity, incidence, and     prevalence). Is this a reportable disease? If so, provide details     about reporting time, whom to report to, etc.
2. Describe the     social determinants of health and explain how those factors     contribute to the development of this disease.
3. Discuss the     epidemiologic triangle as it relates to the communicable disease you     have selected. Include the host factors, agent factors (presence or     absence), and environmental factors. Are there any special     considerations or notifications for the community, schools, or     general population?
4. Explain the role of the community     health nurse (case finding, reporting, data collection, data     analysis, and follow-up) and why demographic data are necessary to     the health of the community.
5. Identify at least one national     agency or organization that addresses the communicable disease     chosen and describe how the organizations contribute to resolving or     reducing the impact of disease.
6. Discuss a global     implication of the disease. How is this addressed in other countries     or cultures? Is this disease endemic to a particular area? Provide     an example.

Answer: The statistical significance of evidence is the measurement of data that determines that the results are unlikely to have happened by chance. It also can mean that the results are “reliable and can be duplicated” (Polit & Beck, 2017) when applied in another situation The application of a p-value of five refers to the idea that in 100 times more than 95% the results will be the same. The clinical significance of evidence is whether when applied to patient care will have the same effect. The evidence is not just taken on face value or the results of the statistical results but also must best be evaluated by “making an informed expert judgment of the benefits and risks associated with research findings” (EL-Masri, 2016). 

Each of these findings can be used to advance evidence-based projects in different ways. The statistical tells us if the data is leading us in the right direction based on reliability and clinically the benefits to the patients will be seen.

There are two components to this submission: a capital budget proposal presentation and a projected departmental budget. The capital budget proposal should be submitted as a presentation (either PowerPoint or an equivalent tool) with speaker notes.

The projected departmental budget should be uploaded separately as an Excel spreadsheet. In Milestone Two, you submitted a rough draft of this projected departmental budget which is attached below called MILESTONE 2 and the Excel sheet draft is attached below!
